The Jugland Sunny Boys Live at Ina Oktoberfest 2026

My band, the Jugland Sunny Boys, performed at Ina Oktoberfest on October 3, 2026. In this post, I’ll share what the event was like, our set list, and a video of our performance.

Marco, one of the event organizers, had been inviting us to perform for several years. However, our schedules never seemed to line up, so we hadn’t been able to take part.

This year, we found out that the event is held on the first Saturday of October, so I asked my band members to keep their schedules open. Fortunately, we were able to perform at the event this time. Thank you all for making it possible!

By the way, Marco have organized his own English schools, and the homepage is Bridge Language School ブリッジ英会話. He has a cheerful personality and loves music. Also, he often takes place many events.

So this time, I will share you about our performance at the event, and what the atmosphere at the event was. People from diverse backgrounds came there and enjoy the event because the organizer is people from abroad.

I took this photo in the evening. The event had a great vibe, with all the stalls and beautiful decorations with many pendant lights. It looked especially stunning when lit up at this time of day, so I made sure to take a picture. The family could be chillaxing at the event.

About Ina Oktoberfest

As I mentioned earlier, the Ina Oktoberfest is held the first Saturday in every Oct, the event venue is Ina central park.

The official Ina Oktoberfest website is here.

Local restaurants and breweries set up stalls offering a variety of food and drinks, including non-alcoholic options. There were also games for children, making it a fun event for the whole family, and live performances by several bands.

The flyer below was taken from the Ina Oktoberfest Facebook page. This flyer and their homepage capture the atmosphere of the event well.

I found this flyer on their Facebook event page and wanted to share it here. To the organizers: please let me know if you prefer me not to use it, and I will gladly remove this image.

Before our performance, I had a delicious frankfurter, but I forgot to take a photo. After our set, I enjoyed some spare ribs. They were tender, tasty, and filling. All my band members had the spare rib too.

Here’s a photo of the spare ribs. I should had taken this picture at a photogenic spot.

I rarely drink alcohol, but that day I felt like having a beer. Unfortunately, I had to drive. The event had such a relaxed atmosphere that it made me want to sit back, enjoy some good food and drinks, and unwind.

The lineup and the time schedule for the event

The list below, including us, was the lineup for the event.

  1. Kirk and The Kings (3:30~4:10 pm)
  2. Tequila Violins (4:30~5:10 pm)
  3. Tony Mystery’s Imaginary Fan Club (5:30~6:10 pm)
  4. The Jugland Sunny Boys (6:40~7:20 pm)

All the other bands featured musicians from different countries, and Mark, who is British, seemed to be playing throughout the event.

I arrived at around 4 p.m. and was busy getting ready, so I only managed to watch Tony Mystery’s Imaginary Fan Club. The band mainly plays Mark’s original songs.

Kirk was playing bass. It was my first time meeting him, and I thought he was a great player. I’d love to take the time to watch him perform again.

Set List and Video of the Jugland Sunny Boys

We played nine songs, including the encore. Our set list was the same as the one from our previous show at Klub King Rat in Kofu.

  1. Tomorrow (Carl Scott and Eddie Thomas)
  2. You Are My Sunshine
  3. On The Road Again (Willie Nelson)
  4. St. Louis Blues
  5. All Of Me
  6. You’ve Got a Friend in Me
  7. East Tennessee Blues
  8. After You’ve Gone
  9. When the Saints Go Marching In

The article of Klub King Rat in Kofu city is link below. My equipment is the same as last time.

The video below features our performance of “All of Me.” Katou joined us again on blues harp, just as he did the previous week. Having the full band together made for a great ensemble, and I really enjoyed playing with everyone. Luna also took photos and videos. Thanks so much, Luna!

Here’s a photo taken from behind the stage. I love how our outfits, the event tents, and the pendant lights all seem to match perfectly.

Conclusion

It was our first time performing at Ina Oktoberfest, and the audience had great energy. The event’s upbeat atmosphere made it a joy to play. The food from the stalls was delicious, too, so I enjoyed the event beyond just performing. If I had one small complaint, it would be that I wish I’d had more time to relax and enjoy everything.

I’d love to perform here again next year. Next time, I’d like to arrive earlier and spend more time enjoying the event.

Our next show is at Mizube no Marche on October 25. The full schedule hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be performing on Nawate Street in Matsumoto. Depending on our performance time, I’d like to stop by Mt. Desert Island Ice Cream and BURGER CHOP.
